Telangana and Andhra Pradesh will have their separate High Court from 1st January 2019 - (State News)


Andhra Pradesh and Telangana will have a different high court which will work from Amravati, the new capital of the state. Since the bifurcation of the state on June 2, 2014, Andhra Pradesh and Telangana have had a typical high court at Hyderabad, the latter's capital city. With this new high court, the nation presently has 25 high courts. Present Chief Justice of Uttarakhand High Court Justice Ramesh Ranganathan will head the new high court.
